By using a shared rental kitchen, our partners can launch and expand their businesses without the large investment and overhead of a private space. Our low minimum monthly commitment makes Peggy's Kitchen the perfect choice for new and growing businesses as well as established caterers and small batch production operators. We pride ourselves in having a clean, well-maintained kitchen, well-equipped to meet your food production needs.
We have two large prep stations as well as a separate station for washing and prep of vegetables. Our commercial food processor is available for partners to use as well as a variety of mixing bowls.
Peggy's Kitchen partners have access to a commercial six burner gas stove with oven as well as a double convection oven.
Our facility features a walk-in refrigerator with an additional commercial refrigerator for overflow (or single client rental). A commercial freezer is also available. We make and sell ice on the premises for the convenience of our partners.
We have a supply of shared goods, including pots, pans and baking sheets as well as a large salad spinner and several containers which may be used by partners while in the kitchen. A food Cambro and two beverage Cambros are available to rent on request for events (based on availability) .

All of our partners sign a kitchen services agreement with a minimum three month commitment. The first month's minimum payment is due in advance along with a security deposit of $300. The security deposit is refundable within the terms of the agreement.
All of our partners are required to have the following up-to-date documents and certifications on file with us in order to access the kitchen:
Certificate of business liability insurance with a minimum of $1 million per occurrence and an aggregate of $2 million with Peggy's Kitchen LLC listed as an additionally insured. (*Many of our clients use the Food Liability Insurance Program to source their policy)
An annual food license from the town of Kingston, Massachusetts
Current ServSafe certificate
Current allergen awareness certificate
Any other certificates required for your business
May 1 through October 31 (unless otherwise arranged)

8 hours of private full kitchen use
4 foot dry storage shelf (designated as your own for the month)
Use of common refrigeration space during your scheduled work time
Additional hours billed at $17 each
Private use refrigeration and additional freezer space (see below)
Ice is available for purchase on site for $1.00 per 5 pound bag
November 1 through April 30 (unless otherwise arranged)
INCLUDES:

4 foot dry storage shelf (designated as your own for the month)
Use of common refrigeration space during your scheduled work time
Additional hours billed at $17 each
Private use refrigeration and freezer space additional (see below)
Ice is available for purchase on site for $1.00 per 5 pound bag
Additional dry storage space can be purchased for $10 per 4 foot shelf per month
Private use refrigeration can be purchased for $20 per shelf per month
Private use freezer space can be purchased for $25 per shelf per month
** For clients who commit to more than 24 hours per month, rates, including private kitchen hours, refrigeration and freezing can be negotiated.
In order to start working at Peggy's Kitchen, the town of Kingston, Massachusetts requires that all partners obtain an annual food license.
Once you have signed an agreement with Peggy's Kitchen LLC and have made your required initial payments, we will contact the town of Kingston's Health Department on your behalf to confirm that you have a valid contract with our licensed kitchen.
Once the town of Kingston has confirmation that you are under contract with Peggy's Kitchen, they will accept your application for an annual license (currently $200 per year). The town will also require copies of your ServSafe and allergen awareness certificates.
Upon their approval, a license will be granted and you will be cleared to start working in the kitchen.
*Note: if you should choose to terminate your partnership with Peggy's Kitchen, we are under obligation to notify the town of Kingston and surrounding towns. Your license, dependent on access to Peggy's Kitchen, will be canceled.
Peggy's Kitchen is available by appointment only (no drop-ins). New partners who wish to apply for a space in Peggy's Kitchen can do so by contacting us by email or phone to schedule a tour.
